I currently listen to most of my music on the Walkman in FLAC. I rebuilt the database on the unit, then I restarted the Walkman by holding down the power button for 8 seconds, but Music Center STILL insists on copying the same songs and playlists (along with the songs in the playlists) over and over. Our crowd-sourced lists contains more than 10 apps similar to Music. I have gone through the settings and there is an import setting that I am curious as to its function and its effects on my songs. The best Music Center alternatives are VLC Media Player, foobar2000 and Strawberry. Through answers provided to ''Answers to surveys'' on Music Center for PC Version 2.0 onwards, we have added new functions centering on requests received from our users, and have continued to improve ease of use with version 2.1. I use Sony's Music Center for PC app on my Windows 10 PC to transfer music from my computer to my Sony Walkman player.
